The course is ideal for parents, caregivers, domestic workers and au-pairs. Training will cover the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accident prevention, emergency assessment and calling for help<\/li>\n<li>CPR and treatment of choking<\/li>\n<li>Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)<\/li>\n<li>Trauma emergencies such as head injuries, nose bleeds, eye and tooth injuries, broken bones, sprains and burns<\/li>\n<li>Medical emergencies: Asthma, allergic reactions, seizures and febrile convulsions, bites, stings and poisoning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Testing and Certification: <\/strong>This is a participation only course with no assessment at the end. No prior CPR knowledge is required. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance as well as a 20 page student workbook to take home. Discovery Vitality members can claim 1000 Vitality points for attendance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:\u00a0<\/strong>7 Hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hosting:\u00a0<\/strong>Would you be interested in hosting a course from the comfort of your own home?
